Samsung highlights contents of June security patch
Another month, another security update. This time, the upgrade addresses a total of 96 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android operating system, and transports 23 additional patches designed specifically for Galaxy-branded smartphones.
As we’ve said time and time again, the majority of the patches are listed as “privately disclosed,” because Samsung can’t go into great detail about what they fix as there are some bugs that may not have been discovered by hackers yet, and they may attempt to exploit them before the firmware is rolled out.
