Galaxy S8 will come embedded with Gemalto’s smart secure chip in some markets

Gemalto has announced that the Galaxy S8 will come with its embedded Secure Element (eSE) in some markets. The eSE is a tamper-proof smart chip comes with a secure operating system and applications, and is compatible with Samsung Pay. The company’s technology help business and governments in authenticating identities and protect data on personal devices like smartphones and tablets. Gemalto’s eSE chip also comes embedded in some Galaxy A smartphones globally and in Galaxy C smartphones in China.

in SOME markets? why not all! security should never be a compromise! I didn’t even know the S8s came encrypted, but glad that it did. The more security the better
