Samsung DeX, the docking station that turns the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ into desktop computers, is now available to pre-order from Amazon and Samsung's website in the US. The DeX is priced at $150, and the shipments start from April 20, one day before the release of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. However, if you happen to pre-order it from Samsung.com, you'll have to wait until early May.

The DeX is currently compatible only with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It takes advantage of the powerful octa-core 10nm processors inside the new flagship phones to provide a desktop-like UI when it is connected to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. You can open multiple web browser tab and windows, watch videos on a big screen, get notifications from smartphones and reply to them, and use all your Android apps.

Will you be buying the DeX to be used with your Galaxy S8 or S8+? Let us know in the comments section below.
