Gear Manager app updated with Auto Switch feature

Samsung has released a new version of the Gear Manager app today and it brings a couple of improvements for the app. Users will now see cards in the app which will provide them with tips about the new features, account sign-in, data backup, notification management and more.

The updated Gear Manager app also comes with the Auto Switch function that Samsung released recently. We saw this feature in the recent Gear S3 classic and frontier update as well. Auto Switch enables the Gear S3, Gear S2 and Gear Fit2 to automatically connect to the paired smartphone.

The app will now show available watchfaces when watchfaces are deleted. An improved Gear lock function is onboard as well, it will show information on the connected wearable's lock screen.
