Samsung possibly teasing Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus colors on its website

Home / News / Samsung possibly teasing Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus colors on its website

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus on March 29 at an event in New York, but it has already started teasing details about its upcoming flagship smartphones. It recently released a Galaxy S8 teaser advertisement early in Korea, quite likely to build up the hype surrounding the launch. Now, the company is possibly teasing the colors of the device on its official website.

One of the questions on Samsung India’s official early signup page for the Galaxy S8 asks users what color would they prefer for “the New Galaxy” device, and the options include Black, Silver, and Amethyst. Are these really the colors in which the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus would be available? A report from last week stated that these devices could be offered in Black, Silver, and Violet (which is quite close to Amethyst), but we can’t be sure of that until the launch day.

Which color would you prefer for your Galaxy S8?

Just make sure all storage size and colours are available worldwide which standardised the availability like Apple which they did very well.

All android OEM other than Apple love to make specification differentiation, different storage and colours option and different software update schedule for different region which is totally unacceptable. Give us all the option, we users pick what we want, not OEM restrict the option for us. For god sake, just copy Apple standardisation!

Not really when a lot of people buy straight from Samsung. Then there is no involvement from carriers, it’s all on Samsung.

Hopefully all the colours are available from the release date.

So the colors are probably going to be region specific. If that is India’s signup page that’s probably what they are getting. Fully expect EU/US to get more or different colors.
Nothing unusual about it.

It’s a shame that was not available here in the United Sates. That was a really nice looking phone.

Same here in the UK. I hate the market specific colour availability strategy that Samsung opts for.

I hate it too, but the UK actually have gotten all the colours of the last couple of years, just not the special limited edition ones. Blue Coral arrived pretty late but its still there.
