    BMW Connected app released for Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S3

    Another interesting app has been released for Samsung's latest smartwatches. The BMW Group has released the BMW Connected app for the Gear S2 and the Gear S3, and it's available for download from the Galaxy Apps store. The app uses the Open Mobility Cloud to let Gear S2 and Gear S3 owners connect their smartwatches to a compatible BMW car.

    The app lets users access various types of information such as driving times, fuel level, last parked location, traffic conditions, and more. Users can also lock or unlock their BMW car. They can even turn on the ventilation system from anywhere in the world. There's a dedicated BMW Connected watchface as well, with quick access to important features and information.

    The app is optimized for 2014 or newer cars from the company, but some features might not be available if a car is 2013 or older.
