If you've been following news from the technology industry recently, I'm sure you're aware of Apple's rumored decision to remove the traditional 3.5mm audio jack from its upcoming iPhone 7. Instead, it will release a handful of headphones in partnership with Beats that have been specifically designed to work with its homegrown Lightning connector. The Cupertino company is also expected to take the wraps off a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, which will enable customers to use their own earphones with the handset.
