Samsung chief says Galaxy Note 7 is going to have upgraded ‘note’ features
It was rumored a few weeks ago that Samsung is likely going to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 at an event in New York City on August 2nd and the company confirmed just that a few hours ago. We’re all very excited to see what the company has in store for us. Samsung Electronics president and mobile chief Dongjin Koh has said that the Galaxy Note 7 is going to bring upgraded “note” features.
Speaking to reporters in Seoul, Koh said: “We have improved ‘note’ functions this time, upgrading software for user convenience.” This means that the flagship is going to have new software features and the S Pen is likely going to learn some new tricks as well. Koh will take the stage on August 2nd to unveil the Galaxy Note 7.

It is just a matter of time and someone will port the firmware for note 4 or 5.
As long as it makes the Note 4 drop in price…
Normal that they won’t update all note phones and not sure how they can update touch wiz. Apple does it for years to make customers buying the newest phones. However that why we root

In the end, you don’t like the Note7? Then DO NOT BUY IT. That simple.
Well I’m glad that I’ve got my note 4…. Will keep this till the cows come home , or you pry it from my dead fingers…. lol
Too bad most of those features could work on every Note to date, but they just refuse to update them with it.
Maybe we will get back some of the features lost since the original Note, like the ability to write mathematical equations?
Quite interesting feature, I recall! (had all the Note series until now). Apps can still help you do this with the pen even in later Notes of course.
But I believe the new S-Pen will be much more than that!

You think there’s gonna be a Gear S3 unveiled? I keep wanting one but after going in store, it jus seems a bit small on my wrist. Hoping they’ll be either a Gear S3 or jus a bigger Gear S2
I can’t see them launching a Gear S3 just yet. It would be great however to launch a Gear S2+ or something, with a bigger screen. Like yourself, I have tried on the S2 and it’s tiny in comparison to my Gear S. It’s the biggest reason as to why I won’t upgrade my watch. I love the fact that I can use my Gear S as a standalone phone too, which IIRC cannot be done with the Gear S2 – thats the only other issue I have with the newer version of the watch
