Samsung Gear 360 vs. LG 360 camera quality compared side by side

Samsung's first consumer grade 360-degree camera, the Gear 360, was unveiled along with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. However, Samsung isn't the only brand to release a 360-degree camera. LG released its 360-degree camera which works with Android and iOS smartphones.

Both the Gear 360 and the LG 360 Cam are very similar cameras, and it was natural to wonder which is better. Now, a video has been posted on YouTube, which compares the video and audio quality of both these 360-degree cameras. As you can see in the video, the Gear 360 has much better video quality than the LG 360 Cam.

The Gear 360 shoots videos in close to 4K resolution, while the LG 360 Cam captures them in 2K resolution, hence the difference in image quality. What are your thoughts on this?
