Samsung Galaxy S7 teardown reveals the liquid cooling heat pipe

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are going up on pre-order today. However, the device has already received the teardown treatment even before customers are able to get their hands on it. What we're seeing here is the company's proprietary internal design, which essentially means that a lot of components have been crammed together to save room. This is standard industry practice, so there's no need to be concerned.

We can also clearly see the liquid cooling copper heat pipe here, which is attached to thermal heating pads in order to evenly distribute the heat. Samsung spoke about liquid cooling during the announcement on Sunday and it's clearly one of the biggest internal changes that the company has made with the new flagships. Further, there's a waterproofing sticker within the innards of the phone to let Samsung ascertain if water has seeped through. We expect a detailed teardown to follow as the device reaches consumers, but this will suffice for now.
