Retailer may have revealed the Gear S2 release date for Europe

Earlier this month Samsung formally announced the Gear S2 smartwatch, the company has kept fans waiting for a long time for its round smartwatch and now that it has been revealed many of them just can’t wait to get their hands on one. Samsung has already confirmed that it will release the Gear S2 in October but confirmed release date for different markets have yet to be provided, it appears though that a Dutch retailer has revealed what the Gear S2 release date for Europe is going to be.

Dutch retailer Cool Blue lists October 25 as the release date for both the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic, since Samsung has a habit of releasing new products in multiple countries on the same day it’s quite possible that October 25 might be the day the Gear S2 is released across Europe. Bear in mind though that this is speculation after all and Samsung has not confirmed anything officially yet. Pricing for the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic has already been revealed, if the listing is correct about the release date then the Gear S2 will be released to customers across Europe a little over a month from now.

A real shame there is no release date for the note 5 in europe. Missed opportunity for Samsung. Cause now i’ll probably start looking for the new nexus 6.

What makes Nexus 6 better than the S6 edge+ except for the pricing?

Lack of edges? While I agree that the edges look cool, I found them incredibly uncomfortable and general usage of the S6 was less intuitive than with the S5. I sold my S6 Edge last month because of this and went back to my Note 4. I really want a Note 5, but no way I’m buying another Edge-phone. Unnecessary and gimmicky.
