According to a new report published today Samsung is losing the man behind its “Next Big Thing” campaign, which is iconic in its own right, it's a campaign that Samsung has been using for a few years now particularly for its high-end smartphones. Todd Pendleton, who has been the chief marketing officer for Samsung's mobile business in the United States, is reported to be looking for his next big thing outside of Samsung. He has been with the company for over four years. Apparently he has already notified many of his colleagues that he will be leaving the company in April.

CNET reports, citing people familiar with the matter, that Pendleton will be leaving Samsung next month. It also claims that some of the people who reported directly to Pendleton at the company have already left Samsung while the others have been transferred to different departments. Samsung has not officially commented on the report and neither has Pendleton.
