Samsung Galaxy Mega for Sprint getting OTA update, adds HD voice and international Wi-Fi calling

The Galaxy Mega for Sprint is getting a new OTA update but don’t expect it to add a whole lot of new features. This software update bears version number NJ1 and brings support for HD voice calling, international Wi-Fi calling, and some security related fixes from Google. The HD voice calling is appearing for the first time on the Galaxy Mega for Sprint. As the name suggests, this update also lets users access the Wi-Fi calling feature while international roaming. The last update for the device was rolled out four months ago which bumped the device to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

This update is rolling out in batches, so you might have to wait for it to hit your device. The update can be accessed can be accessed from the Settings » About phone » Software updates menu. If you can’t wait for the OTA update, you can always visit our firmware section and download it manually.
