PayPal has finally released their official app for the Gear 2 (and the Gear 2 Neo.) The app was originally announced during the launch of the Gear 2 at Mobile World Congress earlier this year. It can be used to manage PayPal payments and recent transactions right from your wrist, without a need to take out the smartphone from your pocket. Users can also use this app to receive payment related notifications, view and save offers from nearby stores to your wallet and for payment at local stores.
This app bears version 1.40, indicating there has been a lot of internal testing before releasing it for public use. It is being rolled out in a phased manner so don't freak out if you can't install it right away.
