Samsung releases KNOX 2.0, starts with Galaxy S5

Samsung has announced the availability of its KNOX 2.0 platform for Samsung devices, starting with the Galaxy S5. The KNOX 2.0 has evolved from a core security platform and an app container – now known as the KNOX Workspace – to an end-to-end secure mobile platform and includes EMM, Marketplace and Customization, in addition to the previous generation KNOX features.

In simple words, KNOX 2.0 gives businesses the much required security and employees, the liberty to use their own devices at the workplace.

The KNOX 2.0 features an improved user interface, better device integrity from kernel to app, TrustZone-Protected Certificate Management, Two-factor Biometric Authentication, support for Google Play Store apps and more.

The KNOX 2.0 is available for Galaxy S5 and will be available for other Samsung devices in the coming months.

I don’t see how Samsung can go taking the features off the phone and then start charging for it.. People bought these phones with that software installed!

There should be a law against samsung changing their devices/software after purchase.

Again… Samsung taking after Apple… There’s an app for that.. give us your cash!

I had Knox on Jellybean and now the KitKat update removed it. No way of getting it back apparently.

How to install knox into Galaxy S5

So, what Samsung is doing is they basically force a Business feature down the throats of many users that don’t even want that. Plus, the KNOX-enabled phones cost more, of course, since they have a Business feature included… Rubbish. The S4 is my last Samsung device.

Maybe next time you should try to read smth before posting such a stupid thing. You wilk get Know if yu enable it via Samsung. And you have to pay for it only if you want to use it.
Every S5 is Know compatible and have know pre installed. You will get it if you pay for it
