One of the main issues when enclosing a USIM module in a smartwatch is battery drain. A Gear 2 with a USIM module will be much more power hungry, and considering that the device comes with a meager 315 mAh battery, it is not known as to how Samsung is tackling the issue of battery life. While the USIM version of the Gear 2 is still uncertain, Samsung’s other wearable devices, the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are set to launch soon. What do you think of such a device? Would you be interested in buying a smartwatch that can make calls by itself? Let us know in the comments below.
