Galaxy Gear Fit will be announced alongside Galaxy S5, Galaxy Gear 2?
Ready for another rumour? A report originating from a Korean media outlet claims that Samsung will have quite a few things to talk about on Monday at the Unpacked event. One of the devices that will get an official unveiling will be Galaxy Gear Fit. According to them, the Galaxy Gear Fit will be a healthcare oriented wearable accessory and will compete with devices like Fitbit, Jawbone, Nike Fuelband. It will integrate sensors to track steps and other physical activity and even monitor user’s sleep. The report also claims that Samsung will lose the integrated camera, which we suspect could be to keep the price down.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Gear 2 at the Unpacked event this coming Monday and we’ll be there on hand to report it live as it happens. Stay tuned!

Samsung calls just about everything the Galaxy whatever…it is similar to Apple calling everything the iThis or iThat, and the way I used to call the Mac guy in the Mac vs. PC adds the iDouche. If you don’t like the branding, then maybe you shouldn’t follow Samsung products, because I don’t see “Galaxy” going away. Now, if they were going to release the Galaxy S5 with 10 different versions, then I’d understand complaints.
It is called branding and helps the consumer identify certain products. If you can´t afford a Galaxy Note 3 or the upcoming Galaxy S5 you can always get a second hand Galaxy Ace or somtehing like that.
Or you can just crawl back to your cave.
