We had a semi-confirmation of Samsung plans but if you needed an official word, Samsung today announced the Galaxy S4 Active for the South Korean market. The Korean Galaxy S4 Active features couple of changes like a faster Snapdragon 800 processor that also supports LTE-A connectivity. Additionally the 8MP camera found on the international variant of Galaxy S4 Active has been swapped with the original 13MP sensor found on the Galaxy S4.

Apart from these, the Galaxy S4 Active boasts a 5-inch Full HD display, 32GB internal memory, 2600mAh battery, Aqua mode to shoot images underwater and IP67 certified making it resistant to dust and water of up to 3 feet for 30 minutes.

The Galaxy S4 Active will be available through SKT for price of around 900,000 won.
