Bell to update Galaxy S4 and S4 mini to Android 4.3 from November 23

Canadian carrier Bell will begin updating the Galaxy S4 and its smaller sibling, the Galaxy S4 mini, to Android 4.3 starting November 23rd, according to leaked internal documents obtained by Mobile Syrup. While the S4 has been receiving the update in many regions already, if Bell’s schedule goes according to plan, it will become the first carrier to update the S4 mini to Android 4.3. The update will add support for the Galaxy Gear (which is going to get a price cut in the country during Black Friday, add Samsung’s KNOX implementation, touch up the interface and bring it up to date with the latest version of TouchWiz, improve performance, and lots more.

We’ll be sure to let you know when the update starts rolling out, and once it’s available, you’ll be able update over-the-air or by using the full firmware files from our firmware section. This weekend is going to be a good one for S4 and S4 mini owners on Bell’s network, so hang tight and try to be patient while you wait for Android 4.3 to arrive!
