Samsung The Frame TV LS03FA (2025)

Samsung's The Frame LS03FA TV is the 2025 version of the popular The Frame TV in its Lifestyle series. It was announced at CES 2025. It can double up as a digital art frame or a painting when you are not actively watching video on it. Its combination of a QLED pane, Dual-LED backlight, and a matte screen coating makes artwork and paintings look like they are actually painted on a canvas.

This year's The Frame TV model brings a higher refresh rate (144Hz) than last year, a new SolarCell Remote, AI powered features to improve audio and picture quality, and Tizen OS 9.0.

The Frame's 2025 version looks similar to the models from previous years, featuring a slim and flat design with magnetic bezels. You can customize the bezels by either using the flat modern bezel (Brown, Teak, or White) or the beveled bezel (Sand Gold Metal).

The TV is available in several sizes ranging from 43 inches to 65 inches. All the sizes are listed below.

The Frame TV (TLS03FA) comes bundled with a One Connect Box (Y24 4K), One Invisible Connection, and SlimFit Wall Mount for a sleek looking installation. The new SolarCell Remote (TM2561E) that comes with this TV has an AI Button and the Click To Search button.

The Frame TV (LS03FA) uses a 4K VA QLED panel with Dual-LED backlight, and a matte coating on the screen. It makes the display look like a real canvas. The 43-inch and 50-inch versions of the TV feature a 60Hz refresh rate, while the 55-inch and 65-inch versions have a 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium. All models feature HDR, HDR10, HDR10+ (Adaptive & Gaming), and HLG. It has auto low-latency mode (ALLM) and variable refresh rate (VRR).

Besides Color Booster Pro, Film Mode, Filmmaker Mode, Real Depth Enhancer, and Smart Calibration, The Frame also has AI-powered features listed below.

In Art Mode, the TV tunes its Dual-LED backlight in such a way that the artwork or paintings have a soft and matte look to it to make it appear more real.

With the help of the TV's motion sensor, the Art Mode can be programmed to turn on when the TV isn't being actively used.

The 43-inch and 50-inch sizes of The Frame (LS03FA) TV have a 2-channel speaker with 20W RMS output, while the 55-inch and 65-inch models have a 2.0.2-channel speaker setup with 40W audio output. It also features Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, Bluetooth Audio, Dolby Atmos, Object Tracking Sound, and 360 Audio (with compatible Galaxy Buds).

Thanks to Q-Symphony, the TV's onboard speakers can work in conjunction with the paired Samsung soundbar or wireless speaker's drivers for a more powerful audio experience.

The One Connect Box (Y24 4K) has all the ports that you need for this TV. It has four HDMI ports (2.0 on 43-inch and 50-inch models and 2.1 on 55-inch and 65-inch models), two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, one digital optical audio output port, one Ethernet port, and one RF port.

The TV also has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, AirPlay 2, DLNA, Miracast, Smart View, Tap Sound, and Tap View. It also has a built-in SmartThings Hub with support for Thread (for Matter) and Zigbee networking.

The Frame (LS03FA) TV runs Tizen OS 9.0 with One UI interface. It has the NQ4 AI Gen 2 processor with a powerful NPU onboard. The company has promised to offer seven years of Tizen OS updates to the TV.

It has regular features like Alexa, Bixby, Daily+, Daily Board, Multi Control, Samsung Health, Samsung TV Plus, SmartThings app, and Workout Tracker and AI-powered features like Click To Search and Live Translate.

You can display various popular artworks on the TV by subscribing to the Art Store's plan or by individually buying famous artworks. It has several artworks that you can download for free or you can display your own photos.

Its gaming features include Dynamic Black EQ, Game Bar, Game Motion Plus, MiniMap Zoom, Samsung Gaming Hub, and Super Ultra Wide Game View.
