Samsung S90F OLED TV

The S90F is Samsung's OLED TV launched in early 2025. It sits one tier below the company's 2025 flagship OLED TV, the Samsung S95F, but still offers all the features that most people want in their OLED TVs.

The TV uses a 4K OLED panel and is available in six different sizes. However, not all models use the same panel. The 42-inch, 48-inch, and 83-inch models use LG DIsplay's WRGB OLED panels, while the 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch models use Samsung Display's QD-OLED panels.

All of them support up to a 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR10, HDR10+ (Adaptive and Gaming), and HLG. The TV has Filmmaker Mode and Smart Calibration as well.

The S90F has a 2.1-channel 40W stereo speaker setup and Dolby Atmos. Other audio features include Samsung's Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Soun Pro, and 360 Audio (with Galaxy Buds). It has Q-Symphony for Wireless Dolby Atmos.

Samsung has equipped the S90F TV with four HDMI 2.1 ports (one with eARC), three USB Type-A ports, Digital Optical Audio Output ports, one Ethernet port, one RF port, and one 3.5mm audio output port. It has Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 5 for wireless connectivity.

It has AirPlay 2, Miracast, Tap Sound, Multi Control, Storage Share, and Tap View for audio and video mirroring. DLNA is also present for streaming media from a media server. It has built-in Matter Hub to control compatible smart home devices.

The S90F runs Tizen OS 9.0 with the One UI interface, Daily+, Daily Board, and Vision AI. It has all the popular popular audio and video streaming apps and other features like Alexa, Bixby, Samsung Gaming Hub, Philips Hue Sync, Samsung Health, Samsung TV+, SmartThings, and Workout Tracker. It has Game Bar, Game Motion Plus, Mini Map Zoom and Super Ultra Wide Game View for gamers.
