A hard reset is useful to return your device to its original factory settings. It should be treated as a last resort for troubleshooting any issues with your device. That's because all of your data will be wiped during the hard reset. It's always important to create a backup of your data before proceeding with the hard reset.
Step 1: Connect your Galaxy S21 series device to a PC using the original USB-C cable.
Step 2: Power off the device using the side key or the power icon in Quick Toggles.
Step 3: Press and hold the volume up and side key. Release them when the Samsung Galaxy logo appears.
Step 4: Use the volume down key to navigate to the “Wipe data/factory reset” option and press the side key to select it.
