Samsung has announced the roll out of Samsung Vision AI Companion today. This artificial intelligence experience has been designed for TVs and is powered by Samsung's AI-enhanced Bixby to deliver conversational user experiences.
What this means is that you can ask Bixby questions about what you're watching, find facts about an actor, ask it to find restaurants nearby, and also get customized recommendations.
This upgraded version of Bixby provides a more natural dialogue for seamless two-way conversation and has a deeper contextual understanding to deliver personalized responses.
Ask it a question about a sports even, a film, or even for travel suggestions, Samsung Vision AI Companion will provide instant answers with helpful visuals and relevant content. There are no menus or screens to jump through, it provides all of the answers on the screen without any interruption to whatever you're watching.
The multi-agent platform behind this enhanced version of Bixby relies on LLMs from the likes of Microsoft and Perplexity. It fuses together some of the best generative AI models to deliver intelligent responses to questions and requests from the user.
This AI experience can be brought up on the screen by pressing the dedicated AI button on the remote. Samsung Vision AI Companion supports 10 different languages, such as English, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portugueses, and Italian.
This feature is available across the 2025 TV lineup, including its Neo QLED. Micro RGB, OLED, QLED, Smart Monitors, and The Movingstyle devices.
