Samsung announced last week that it will hold a launch event in February 25, 2026. This will be the first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, during which the company is expected to unveil several new devices. So, what can we expect from the event? Let’s take a closer look.
The event is expected to be headlined by the Galaxy S26 series, which will likely include three smartphones: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. In addition to smartphones, Samsung typically introduces new accessories at Galaxy Unpacked events. At the upcoming launch, the company is also expected to unveil two new wireless earbuds: the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
Expected devices
You can follow SamMobile's social channels for regular updates from the Galaxy Unpacked event. You can also pre-reserve a Galaxy S26 series device and stand a chance to win $5,000.
Samsung is not expected to launch new Galaxy Watch models at this event. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic were introduced just seven months ago at last year’s second Galaxy Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7. The company is also unlikely to announce any new tablets at the February event.
As for upgrades, the Galaxy S26 is expected to feature a slightly larger display, a faster processor, and a bigger battery. The Galaxy S26+ may see minimal changes, with performance improvements likely limited to a faster chipset. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could deliver more substantial upgrades, including faster overall performance, quicker wired and wireless charging, and improved camera hardware.
All of the Galaxy S26 series devices could also feature Samsung’s Privacy Display technology and a wider-angle front-facing camera to fit more information into the images. You can learn more about the Galaxy S26's features and specifications here.
The Galaxy Buds 4 and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are expected to have a completely new design, featuring flatter stems and an improved touch-sensitive area. They will bring audio quality and ANC improvements, a button on the wireless charging case to find a paired phone, and head gestures.
