Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus for only $140? It's possible

Samsung's latest and best Chromebook can be yours for as low as $140 if you can take maximum advantage of the trade-in program. The Galaxy Chromebook Plus is usually available for $699.

Samsung offers trade-in discounts of up to $559, but this deal has a caveat. Only one device can secure this maximum trade-in price drop, and that device is the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Fortunately, many other devices can secure a decent trade-in discount for you. For instance, you can save $497 on the Galaxy Chromebook Plus if you trade-in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

You can also exchange older laptops from Samsung and other brands, although you won't get nearly as much value from them. Oddly, select phones and tablets – rather than laptops – offer the highest trade-in discounts.

The Galaxy Chromebook Plus is the lightest and thinnest Chromebook in its class. It's certainly Samsung's best Chromebook to date, featuring a 15.6-inch AMOLED display, an Intel Core 3 100U CPU, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB eUFS storage.
