More leaks are now surfacing as we get closer to the launch of Samsung's Galaxy S26 series. The latest shines some light on the expected color options for Samsung's next top-of-the-line flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
What the leak doesn't show is the orange color, popularized by the iPhone last year, which earlier rumors claimed was going to be an option for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Images of alleged SIM trays of the Galaxy S26 Ultra have been posted on X today by @UniverseIce. You can make out four colors that look like black, white, blue, and violet in these images. There's no orange color to be seen.
The reason why the SIM trays betray the color options is because the tray sits flush with the frame, and the top part is color-matched to the device. You can just about make out what the corresponding color options are for these leaked SIM trays.
There's a possibility that Samsung might not make orange the hero color for this device, possibly to not have it be seen as a direct inspiration from Apple. Maybe the company could offer it in a limited manner, most likely as a Samsung.com exclusive.
We should have more clarity on the matter in the coming weeks. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at an Unpacked event in February, with the new lineup being released at some point in March this year.
