Samsung started rolling out the stable One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series on April 7. The wider rollout has begun today so users in most markets should get the update notification their device today. Those who weren't in the beta program have naturally been curious about the update.

It's one of the biggest updates that Samsung has put together for its custom skin. There's a lot to dive into and unpack, so we've created a YouTube video to explain how the stable One UI 7 looks and feels like on the Galaxy S24 series.

One UI 7 for Galaxy S24 doesn't bring a few Galaxy S25 features

One of the biggest cosmetic changes include the separate quick panel and notifications panel, but Samsung does provide you with an option to combine them like the way it was on earlier versions of One UI. You can also revert the vertical scrolling app drawer back to the old (horizontal) way.

The lock screen provides a lot more in the way of customization, including plenty of new widgets. The Now Bar is a decent addition to the UI, providing users with a dynamic interface element that displays information relevant to whatever they're doing.

The mystery of whether Now Brief would make it way to the stable version has finally been solved: Samsung hasn't included the feature in this release. It's a useful feature that essentially provides a check-in for your entire day, covering everything from the weather to your energy score and sleep score.

Apart from this, Samsung has brought all of the other Galaxy AI features from the Galaxy S25 series to the Galaxy S24. So have camera features like log video recording. However, the pre-recording feature for Single Take on the Galaxy S25 has not made its way to the predecessor.
