The first trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been released, showing the superhero using a Samsung phone while hanging from a skyscraper. In previous Spider-Man films, the character was often seen using Sony Xperia phones, making the switch to a Galaxy device notable and good news for Samsung in terms of marketing.
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer opens with Spider-Man dangling from a skyscraper while using a Galaxy Z Flip series phone. He places the device face down on a metal surface (which is not recommended), then picks it up and starts scrolling through Instagram Reels, watching videos of his friend Ned and girlfriend MJ. The footage appears to have erased the selfie camera cutout from the phone’s inner display.

While the exact model is not confirmed, it is likely either the Galaxy Z Flip 6 or the Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 was launched in July 2024, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 debuted in July 2025. Filming for the latest Spider-Man movie reportedly began in August 2025. Based on the prominent silver camera rings, the device appears to be the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release in theaters worldwide on July 31, 2026. More details about the exact Galaxy Z Flip model used in the film may become clear once the movie is released.
