The Galaxy A5x series tend to do very well for Samsung in the market. The company has built it up over generations to become a solid mid-range device that offers respectable specifications and performance at a very attractive price point.
It's only been a few months since the Galaxy A56 was launched, and months before it's actually due, the Galaxy A57 has now been spotted.
As highlighted on X, the Galaxy A57 has been listed in the IMEI database. The entry is for the SM-A576B/DS model which points to the dual-sim variant of the device.
It's hardly a surprising find, given that it's a solid bet to expect Samsung to launch a new Galaxy A5x phone every year.
An earlier report has suggested that the Galaxy A57 will be powered by the new Exynos 1680 chipset. Benchmarks of the Exynos 1680 reveal that it has a new CPU configuration and a GPU that's twice as powerful as the Galaxy A56's Exynos 1580 chip.
There's also the expectation that Samsung might improve the camera setup on the device. We should see specifics about this emerge in the coming months. Further details about the device remain slim at this point in time, but if history is any indication, we may see it being launched in the first few months of 2026.
