Samsung tends to announce its new gaming monitor lineup a couple of weeks before the Consumer Electronics Show in January where it shows them off in the flesh.
That's precisely what it has done today by revealing its 2026 gaming monitor lineup. The new offerings include Samsung's first 6K 3D Odyssey G9 monitor.
Samsung's 2026 gaming monitor lineup includes five new models that push the envelope on resolution, refresh rates, and performance. The 6K 3D Odyssey G9 is Samsung's flagship model for 2026. Three new Odyssey G8 models are also included.
Samsung claims that its flagship offering is the world's first 6K glasses-free 3D monitor. It relies on real-time eye tracking to create the 3D effect without requiring a headset. The monitor boasts a 6K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate that's bumped up to 330Hz with Dual Mode, and a 1ms response time.
Next up is the 27-inch Odyssey G6 model which is said to be the world's first 1,050Hz gaming monitor through Dual Mode. It has native QHD support up to 600Hz to deliver exceptional, pro-level clarity. It has support for both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync for smooth frames and responsive gameplay.
Samsung is also expanding its Odyssey G8 series in 2026 with three new models. There's the 32-inch G80HS model with 6K resolution, a native 165Hz refresh rate with Dual Mode support up to 330Hz in 3K mode.
The 27-inch G80HF model maxes the resolution at 5K with up to 180Hz native refresh rate and Dual Mode in QHD to 360Hz. Lastly, the new 32-inch G80SH has a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, a glare free coating, as well as support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync.
Pricing and availability details will be confirmed at CES 2026 which starts January 6, 2026.
