Samsung is kicking off launching this year’s models of its products with the announcement of new monitors. The company has announced the Odyssey OLED, Smart Monitor, and Viewfinity monitor series for 2025. We have already discussed the Odyssey OLED 2025 and Smart Monitor 2025 lineups. In this article, we are taking a look at the 2025 lineup of the Viewfinity series monitors.
The South Korean tech giant has announced only one model in the 2025 Viewfinity series, the 2025 Viewfinity S8 (S80UD), which comes as a successor to the Viewfinity S8 from 2024. The brand could launch the 2025 model year of other variants in the next few days or weeks.
The 2025 version of the Viewfinity S8 features a 37-inch LCD with 4K resolution, which means that the screen on the new model is 34% larger than the 32-inch display on last year’s model. That’s the only major change we see between the new and the old model. Samsung says that the new monitor comes with TUV Rheinland’s Ergonomic Workspace Display certification.
The Viewfinity S8 2025 has a USB Type-C port that offers up to 90W of power. It is a USB hub as well, making it easy for you to connect peripherals to your computer. The monitor’s stand has adjustments for height, tilt, and pivot. There’s no adjustment for the swivel though.
Samsung hasn’t announced the price or the availability of the Viewfinity S8 2025 yet. Expect the company to reveal those details in the next few weeks. The brand is going to showcase the product at CES 2025, which kicks off on 7 January 2025. Expect Samsung to make many more announcements about new products in the next few days.
