Good Lock on Samsung Galaxy S25 - Source: Abhijeet Mishra / SamMobile
Nice Shot is one of the simplest Good Lock modules available for Galaxy phones and tablets. It's the kind of app you set up once and forget about. I use it for just one small addition: The delete button in the screenshot toolbar. It's hardly a game-changing feature, but I'd definitely miss it if it suddenly disappeared.
Here's a bit of good news if you're a Nice Shot user: Samsung has started rolling out a new Nice Shot update, bringing the module to version 2.3.09. It doesn't add any new features, but it does claim to address a few UI-related issues.
The changelog doesn't specify which issues version 2.3.09 fixes, but if you've run into any visual quirks or interface bugs, this update may be worth it.
The full changelog mentions:
If you're new to Samsung's ecosystem or haven't tried Good Lock yet, now's as good a time as any. The platform used to be region-locked, but Samsung made it available globally early last year.
You can download Good Lock from the Galaxy Store or Google Play. Once installed, you can browse and download modules individually from the app.
Nice Shot is just one of many Good Lock modules. It focuses on improving the screenshot and screen recording experience. Others offer everything from small quality-of-life tweaks to extensive customization options.
