Samsung updates Galaxy S24 FE with January 2026 security patch

Samsung has rolling out an update for the Galaxy S24 FE in South Korea that offers the January 2026 security patch.

Yesterday, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy S24 series that offered the January 2026 security patch. However, the brand hadn’t offered it to all the devices in the lineup, leaving out the Galaxy S24 FE. Well, that’s changing today.

Samsung has released an update for the Galaxy S24 FE that offers the January 2026 security patch. Currently, the company is rolling it out in its home country, South Korea. The update carries firmware version S721NKSS9CZA1.

The January 2026 security patch fixes a total of 55 security issues, which you can check out here. We expect Samsung to start releasing the update in other countries in the next few days. To update your Galaxy S24 FE, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Speaking of updates for the Galaxy S24 FE, the phone is eligible to get Samsung’s latest version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5. It brings a ton of visual and functional upgrades. The brand is expected to start offering it to eligible devices after the Galaxy S26 launch.
