Around fifteen days ago, Samsung revealed the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) rollout schedule (Brazil, Korea, and India). The brand was supposed to release the update first to new and high-end devices (from mid-September to early October), and then to older and entry-level devices (from mid-October and early November).
Samsung ended up releasing the One UI 8 update to several devices before the promised timeline. However, we had no idea that it would accelerate the rollout so much that it would offer the update to devices weeks earlier. The device in question is right now is the Galaxy Wide 8 (called Galaxy M16 5G outside of Korea).

Usually, after releasing a software update in Korea, Samsung releases it in other parts of the world a week or two later. So, we expect the brand to release the One UI 8 update to the Galaxy M16 5G in other regions before the end of this month. The One UI 8 rollout schedule for India also says that the device will get the update in October 2025.
