We are marching towards the end of February, and there are still some Samsung smartphones and tablets that haven’t received the January 2026 security patch. One of them was the Galaxy F54. Fortunately, not anymore.

Samsung has started rolling out a software update to the Galaxy F54 in India. It offers the January 2026 security patch, which brings fixes for 55 security issues. The update is 330.14MB in size and carries firmware version E546BXXSAEZA5 (via Tarun Vats).

The latest update makes the Galaxy F54 more secure than before, and to get it, you will have to navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We expect Samsung to start rolling out the update in other regions in the next few days.

As the brand keeps releasing the update in more countries, we will make those firmware files available in our database. You can download it from here and install it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool, in case you face issues with the OTA update method.

The Galaxy F54 is eligible to get Samsung’s latest version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 8.5. The brand is currently testing it on the Galaxy S25 series, and it expected to debut its stable version with the Galaxy S26 lineup. Once than happens, the company may start rolling it out to all the eligible devices. Watch our video below to know all the UI changes and new features it offers.
