Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service, Samsung TV Plus, already offers one of the widest selections of channels in the segment. In India, that lineup is now expanding further with the addition of five new channels from Zee5.
Zee5 has announced that five of its channels—Zee Comedy Nation, Zee Dil Se, Zee Horror Nights, Zee Cine Classic, and Zee South Flix—are now available to stream for free on Samsung TV Plus. Below are their channel numbers, but note that they can change in the future.
Commenting on the launch, Zee5’s Chief Business Officer, Siju Prabhakaran, said, “At ZEE5, we believe accessibility and scale will define the next phase of digital entertainment growth in India. Our presence on Samsung TV Plus strengthens our Connected TV strategy, enabling viewers to discover curated, genre-led content in a seamless, free, and premium environment. By bringing our FAST channels to Samsung’s Smart TV ecosystem, we are expanding reach while delivering authentic, relatable stories in a lean-back format that audiences increasingly prefer.”
Samsung TV Plus India’s Head of Partnerships, Kunal Mehta, added, “Local partnerships are at the heart of how we grow Samsung TV Plus in India. Zee Entertainment is one of India’s most iconic media brands, and bringing their channels to our service means millions more Samsung Smart TV owners can enjoy premium local content, subscription-free.”
