Samsung Display is showcasing its technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 in Las Vegas this week.

It will demonstrate new products at a private exhibition for partners across various sectors, including robotics, automotive, entertainment, and more.

OLED displays will enable new AI device experiences in the future

Samsung is showcasing “edge device” concept models to highlight how the AI-powered devices of the future may look like, and how its OLED displays can make them better. The AI OLED Bot is one such example.

It's envisaged as a small robot concept that's deployed as a teaching assistant in a university. It can guide students to classrooms, providing information about staff and courses. Students will also be able to check assignments or class cancellations on the robot's 13.4-inch Samsung OLED display even in environments where voice commands or speakers are difficult to use.

The company has also showcased a couple of speaker-type AI assistant concepts that utilize OLED displays as well. These devices will be able to offer AI-based music recommendations and personal assistance.

Unlike conventional Bluetooth speakers that rely on an external device like a phone, these display-equipped devices will allow users to operate them independently, select content on the device itself, and use images and videos to create interior moods.

Samsung has created the AI OLED Mood Lamp concept with a 13.4-inch OLED display that sets the lighting based on the music being played, the AI OLED Cassette that has a 1.5-inch OLED display and the AI OLED Turntable with a 13.4-inch round OLED display for a more retro feel.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Samsung will be making all of these robots and smart devices itself. Rather, it just goes to show that Samsung Display has the display products on hand to support any manufacturer that may be willing to develop similar products.
