Last year, Samsung analyzed the sleep patterns of Health users around and during the night of Daylight Saving Time (DST). It determined how these time/clock changes affect different age groups.
Samsung found that people went to bed nearly 30 minutes later and woke up 19 minutes earlier than usual, on average, on the day of DST.
Interestingly, people in their 20s were most likely to feel the negative effects of DST, while other age groups adapted faster to the time change.
In anticipation of Daylight Saving Time at the end of March, Samsung has shared a few tips and will release a new Samsung Health update for One UI 7 users.
Last year, to improve sleep-related features in Samsung Health and see how DST affects people, the company analyzed sleep data from Samsung Health and Galaxy Watch users in the USA, Canada, and more than 40 European countries.
