Samsung sends premium gifts to its Middle East employees amid rising regional tensions

They offer the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S11, and Galaxy Book 6 Pro.

Lately, tensions in the Middle East have been rising, and Samsung is taking a small step to help its employees and their families in the region navigate this difficult period while also acknowledging their continued contributions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung has distributed premium gifts to around 500 employees it has across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, to support them and appreciate their work during a time of heightened regional tensions.

Reportedly, the gifts either offered the Galaxy Book 6 Pro or a combo of the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S11, as well as vouchers for their family members that they can redeem at small local businesses. The total value of the gifts is said to be approximately USD 3,338 per employee.

Samsung stated that the initiative was conceived by its chairman, Lee Jae-yong. Acknowledging the difficult circumstances faced by employees and their families, he said, “I extend my deepest sympathy to employees and their families who are going through difficulties due to the unexpected situation in the Middle East.
