Samsung brought a massive UI redesign with the One UI 7.0 update, and with that update, the company refreshed app icons of almost all the stock apps. Now, Samsung has updated the app icon of Routines+ to match One UI 7.0 styling. It has also received Now Brief integration.
The Routines+ module was updated today to version 1.1.18, and it received a new app icon that has the plus symbol inside a circle. The earlier app icon had a tick mark and a plus symbol inside an incomplete circle. The new icon also has a background color with a gradient, while the earlier icon had a solid background color.
Besides bug fixes and stability improvements, the new version of the Routines+ app also brings Now Brief integration. According to the changelog, you can now create advanced Routines that can be reminded of by the Now Brief. This feature can be used in several ways, and could be useful for many users.
However, the Now Brief feature is only available on recent high-end smartphones from Samsung. Those models include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. So, if you have a phone that is older or not as high-end, then you won't be able to use the new feature in Routines+. More devices will get the Now Brief feature with the One UI 8 stable update, though.
You can download the Routines+ app from Good Lock or via the Galaxy Store on your compatible Galaxy smartphone or tablet.
