Samsung rep: One UI 7.0 beta will launch in India this week

Galaxy S24 users in a handful of markets have had access to the first One UI 7.0 beta firmware for the past few days, and it won't be much longer before the beta program expands to more countries.

Today, a Samsung India support representative confirmed in a one-on-one WhatsApp chat with @tarunvats33 that Galaxy S24 users in India will be able to join the One UI 7.0 beta program on December 12.

The message reads: “[…] the Galaxy S24 series Beta UI 7 update is expected to be released on December 12. You will receive a notification on the Samsung Members app for UI 7 beta registration.”

Although Samsung support reps don't always get things right, particularly regarding release dates, this sounds very promising and likely to happen.

The launch in India may also coincide with the release of the 2nd One UI 7.0 beta build. And if the beta program goes live for Galaxy S24 users in India, chances are high that customers in Poland will get the same treatment on the same day.

The first One UI 7.0 beta firmware is relatively bug-free. Samsung took longer than usual to develop it behind closed doors before opening the beta phase to the public, and the results speak for themselves. One UI 7.0 beta 1 is fairly solid.

As of this writing, the One UI 7.0 beta program is open in the USA, the UK, Germany, and Korea. Only three more countries will join the testing phase, i.e., Poland, India, and China.
