Samsung releases an update to Good Lock's LockStar

Samsung is rolling out an update to Good Lock’s LockStar module. Carrying version 8.5.00.17, it brings three changes, which you can check out below:

Fixed lock screen / AOD clock settings error

Fixed errors occurring during Smart Switch / GTS

Fixed manual brightness malfunction on non-Full screen AOD devices

To update LockStar, go to the Galaxy Store, tap on the hamburger menu icon located in the top-left corner of the screen, select Updates, and tap on the Update all button.

Speaking of Good Lock modules, yesterday, Samsung released an update for One Hand Operation +, which adds support for the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display.

It is possible that Samsung will integrate the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display option in other Good Lock modules soon, making these modules and the feature more useful for the Galaxy S26 users.
