Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 8.0 (Android 16) for the Galaxy A56. Here are more details.

At the beginning of this month, Samsung opened the One UI 8.0 Beta Program for the Galaxy A56. After rolling out only two beta versions of the software, the brand has now released its stable version to the phone.
At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 8 (Android 16) stable update for the Galaxy A56 in Korea. It carries firmware version A566SKSU2BYI5 (via Tarun Vats).
A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 8 rollout schedule for Korea, which mentioned that the brand will offer the stable One UI 8 update to the Galaxy A56 on 22 September 2025. The tech giant stayed true to its promise and released the much-awaited update.
The brand's One UI 8 rollout schedule for Brazil says that Samsung will release the One UI 8 stable update to the Galaxy A56 in the week of 25 September 2025. It is possible that the brand may follow the same schedule for the rest of the regions, too. That means, if you are outside Korea, expect the update to arrive between 25 September 2025 and 28 September 2025.
To check if Samsung has made the update available in your region, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. One UI 8 brings new UI elements, as well as new features for accessibility, automation, camera, communication, multitasking, productivity, Samsung Health, and security and privacy.
