PRO Ultimate-branded full-sized SD cards from Samsung are available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB sizes, while microSD cards are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities. Samsung claims that these cards' read and write speeds reach up to 200MB/s and 130MB/s, respectively. These cards are great for 4K video recording and installing apps and games, thanks to V30 (Video Speed Class 30) and A2 (Application Performance Class 2) ratings, respectively. They are reliable for photographers, thanks to the controller's enhanced ECC (Error Correction Code) engine and multi-proof protection features.
Samsung's PRO Ultimate memory cards are also quite durable, featuring resistance from drops (up to 5 meters), magnets, shocks (1,500g), temperatures (-25°C to 85°C), water (up to 72 hours in 2 meters of depth), wearouts (up to 10,000 swipes), and X-rays. These new memory cards are 37% more power-efficient, thanks to the 55nm controller.

Hangu Sohn, VP of Samsung Electronics' Memory Product Business Team, said, “With the growing volume of high-resolution content generated from gadgets such as drones, action cameras, and DSLR cameras, professional creators should be able to work with large–sized content seamlessly, whether they are writing, reading or transferring their data. As creators rely on high speed and performance of the memory cards, the new Samsung PRO Ultimate significantly reinforces such needs through enhanced controller technologies and multi-proof protection features.”
