Samsung’s smartphones were the first to offer Google’s Circle to Search. Well, Google is now upgrading Circle to Search with a feature called Scroll and Translate, and once again, Galaxy phones are the first to get it.
One of the features Circle to Search has been offering since its inception is the ability to translate content on the screen from one language to another. However, as the screen or the content on it changes, such as when you switch apps, the feature turns off. To use the translation functionality again, you have to activate it once more. Well, not anymore.
Google has announced that it is upgrading Circle to Search with the Scroll and Translate feature. It keeps translating content on the screen from one language to another in real time as you scroll or switch apps. You can check out how the feature works in the video shared by Google, below.
According to Google, it will start rolling out the new feature this week, and the brand will first offer it to select Samsung Galaxy devices. That’s right. Google is not rolling out the feature first to its own Pixel devices or Android devices from other brands but to Samsung’s Galaxy devices.
This is one of the perks of buying Samsung’s smartphones. Anyway, we assume Google will first offer it to Samsung’s high-end devices, such as Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Tab S series phones and tablets, and later, to other Galaxy devices, followed by non-Samsung devices.
