Samsung announced its new TV lineup during its The First Look 2026 press event yesterday. And most of these new TVs are being showcased at the company's booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 show floor. Its TV lineup includes newer Neo QLED TVs that offer improved picture quality.
While the company mentioned improved picture quality, it only mentioned two 4K models: QN70H and QN80H. There is no QN90H to replace last year's QN90F, as the Neo QLED TV is being replaced with Samsung's cheapest Micro RGB TV, the R85H. You can read more about the R85H in our separate article.
The QN70H offers improved gaming performance using Dual Line Gate (DLG) feature. It doubles the refresh rate to 288Hz, but that is likely achieved by halving the resolution from 4K to Full HD.
The QN80H appears to be the highest-end Mini-LED-based LCD TV from Samsung. The company claims it offers more dimming zones than its predecessor, the QN80F. It also features support for the HDR10+ Advanced format that rivals Dolby Vision 2.
Now coming to the company's 8K TVs, Samsung only mentioned one model as of now. It is the QN990H, and it supports HDR10+ Advanced. No other information is available about this TV right now. Samsung could release more details about these TVs in the coming weeks.
All three of these TVs run Tizen OS 10 and will get software updates for seven years. They also support Dolby Atmos, Eclipsa Audio, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, AMD FreeSync Premium, ALLM, VRR, and HGiG. Other features include Art Mode, Art Store, Bixby, Samsung Health, Samsung Gaming Hub, SmartThings Hub, Matter Hub, AirPlay 2, Smart View, Daily+, Daily Board, and more.
