When Samsung launched the world's first Micro RGB TV last year, it was kind of a big deal. However, this week at CES 2026, almost every other TV brand has announced their own Micro RGB TVs. LG was one of those brands, and the company is calling them Micro RGB Evo TVs.

Based on what LG has announced, it is using the same micrometer-sized RGB LEDs that Samsung is using. And it is also quoting 100% coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut as Samsung. However, LG's TVs have a higher refresh rate (165Hz) and Dolby Vision. Similar to Samsung, LG has three models in its Micro RGB TV lineup. However, those TVs won't be offered in as many sizes as Samsung has promised.

LG's flagship Micro RGB TV is the MRGB95B. It uses a full-array local dimming with thousands of dimming zones and comes in three sizes: 75-inch, 86-inch, and 100-inch. In comparison, Samsung's Micro RGB TVs will be available in sizes from as small as 55 inches to as large as 130 inches.

The MRGB9M sits one step below, and it is compatible with the Zero Connect Box, which is similar to Samsung's Wireless One Connect Box that debuted with The Frame Pro TV in 2025.

The MRGB85B will be LG's cheapest Micro RGB TV. Both these models will use edge-lit backlighting, which means they won't nearly be as good looking as the flagship model.

All three models will likely use the same Alpha11 AI Processor Gen 3 with a Dual AI Engine that is used in LG's flagship OLED TVs. It is claimed to offer 5.6x faster NPU performance, 50% faster CPU performance, and a 70% more powerful GPU.

They all run WebOS and have AirPlay 2 and Chromecast built-in. Similar to Samsung's new high-end TVs, LG's Micro RGB TVs will also offer an AI-powered audio-visual experience through the upgraded AI Concierge, AI Chatbot, and AI Search.

You can also expect them to feature AMD FreeSync Premium, Dolby Atmos, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI 2.1 ports. More details about these TVs will likely be revealed in March or April of this year.
