Samsung is planning to launch more affordable Micro LED TVs next year, likely at CES 2026. The South Korean firm's existing cheapest Micro LED TV is an 89-inch model, but it needs professional installation because it is assembled using multiple Micro LED panels. However, the company is likely bringing smaller Micro LED TV models that come pre-assembled, and similar to regular TVs, they can just be placed on the top of a table or mounted on a wall using standard mounts.

Samsung's is looking at Micro LED TVs as something that is one step above its OLED TVs and Neo QLED (Mini LED) TVs in terms of performance and pricing. You can read more in-depth about Micro LED TVs in our article here.

Micro LED TVs, similar to OLED TVs, have self-emitting pixels that can produce the backlight and the color all by themselves. So, they can reproduce perfect blacks for infinite contrast ratio. However, unlike OLED TVs, they don't use an organic material, so there is no risk of pixel burn-in and the TVs can last a long time even if they display static images at high brightness.
