Samsung has unveiled a new product in the Infinite AI lineup of home appliances, called the Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator. As the name suggests, it is intended for storing wine bottles.
For now, Samsung has launched the Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator in only its home country, South Korea. The brand has priced it at KRW 6,499,000 (approximately USD 4,283).
The Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator has three sections: Upper, middle, and lower. Together, they can hold 101 wine bottles. The temperature of all three sections can be set individually, from 3 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius.
The middle section features a Multi Pantry, intended to store food items that go well with wine. This section has five cooling modes, Wine, Ham & Sausage, Nuts, Cheese, and Fruit, to make it optimal for storing those items.

The most interesting part of the Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator is that it has a camera mounted at the top and the AI Wine Manager. The AI Wine Manager, using the camera mounted at the top, can detect the bottles of wine you put inside and take them out of the refrigerator.
The feature also makes it more convenient for you to systematically store these bottles, which require careful handling, and receive information about them in SmartThings (such as on your smartphone or tablet). It has natural wood wine racks to preserve “the wood grain.“

The Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator has a depth of 700mm and features a door with Edge Frame design, which offers a 3D effect. It has triple-layered UV-blocking glass that can block 92% of external UV rays and helps maintain a constant temperature inside. More importantly, it has an Auto Open Door function, which can automatically open the door with a voice command or from the SmartThings app.
Commenting on the launch of the new product, Samsung’s Vice President of DA Business Division, Moon Jong-seung, said, “This new product features the newly equipped ‘AI Vision’ function, significantly enhancing convenience from wine purchase to management,” adding, “We will continue to introduce premium home appliances that innovate users’ lifestyles based on advanced AI technology.”
