Samsung launches Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo for faster drying times

Last year, Samsung launched the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, a washer and dryer combo that took the market by storm. It uses a heat pump to dry clothes, which heats air, sends it into the drum, where the air absorbs the moisture from the clothes, takes that air, extracts moisture from it, condenses into water, and then reuses the hot air to dry clothes. While this method doesn’t require venting and is the most energy efficient, it also takes the longest among all types of dryers to dry clothes. 

For people who want the fastest drying performance and can keep a dryer in an area where air can be vented outside, Samsung has now launched the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo. It has an electric heater that heats air, sends it into the drum, where the air absorbs the moisture from the clothes, and then blows out the moist air through a vented duct. With that, the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo offers a faster drying performance compared to the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo.

Just like the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo has a drum with a volume of  5.3 cubic feet and a 7-inch touchscreen. Samsung says that it can wash and dry clothes in just 68 minutes. It comes with AI Opti Wash & Dry. It can detect the weight of the laundry, the type of clothes, and how dirty they are, and then select how much water and detergent to use and how to wash them. Once washed, it then uses the previous parameters, as well as detects the moisture in clothes and selects the best settings to dry them.

Samsung has made the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo available for pre-order in the US and will make it available for pre-order in Canada and Mexico in Q2 2025. However, the tech giant hasn’t announced the price of the product for any of the three regions. In the US, the South Korean tech giant is offering the Bespoke AI Laundry Vented Combo in two colors: Dark Steel and Brushed Black. In Canada, Samsung will offer it only in Brushed Black, and in Mexico, in only one color: Dark Steel.
